Craigowl Church came into being on 1st July 2024 following the Union of neighbouring congregations, Chalmers Ardler and Strathmartine.
As Craigowl Church we are a congregation in its infancy, however we follow on from two congregations with long histories and sound foundations. The challenges for the future will be many, but we strive to build ourselves into people whose faith is alive and visible in the community and beyond. We are people who think that Jesus matters. We would love for others to join with us as we travel forward on our spiritual journey.
Our strapline over recent years has been “Loving Jesus – Loving our Community” and this in a simple way reflects who we are and what we seek to achieve. In a sentence, we would say,
‘We want to see transformation of our communities by making the reality of Jesus Christ known so that others can come to know the love of God for themselves.’
